23 Feb 2019 Update:
This car resurfaced---at a car show at the Festival of Speed in
Goodwood, England UK in 15 July 2018. The car is in beautiful
restored condition. 14 Aug 2018 Update: Earliest known owner: Ed Oberhaus of Archbold, Ohio. In 2008, the car was sold at Amelia Island Auction as part of the Oberhaus Collection for $46,750 to O'Quinn. This car joined the huge O'Quinn collection in Houston until after his tragic death in 2010. In 2010, the car sold at Hershey to an unknown buyer for $41,800 by RM Auctions. It is not known where this car is now. Is this one of the missing DeLaplaine Milburns? He supposedly had 2 Milburns in his extensive electric car collection in the 1950's. " |
